Greece - Arachova to Olympia

We traveled this morning along the Gulf of Corinth, crossing into the Peloponeese to the historic city of Olympia, a testament of the grandeur of ancient Greek civilization.

Rio-Antirrio bridge is the world's longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges and longest of the fully suspended type.  It crosses the Gulf of Corinth.

We visited an Olive Farm, Magna Grecia in Olympia.  This is a 4th generation family owned and run homestead established in 2009.  The family estate is produces oil, olives, wines and much more.  They focus on small scale farming, and they pride themselves in maintaining and continuing the agricultural traditions.  We learned the process in producing Olive Oil, were treated to a delicious lunch and of course they have their shop of various products made of Olive Oil.
